The American Solidarity Party supports traditional social values while supporting government intervention in economic matters. We hold that social and political issues should be dealt with at the most local level feasible, with an emphasis on strong families, local communities, and voluntary associations. We favor fiscally progressive policies and a social market economy.
We seek widespread economic participation and ownership and provides social safety net programs. We seek to create a culture of life from womb to tomb, so we not only oppose the death penalty, euthanasia, torture, abortion, and forever wars, but we also support affordable housing, family-driven education, workplace democracy, easy access to productive capital, retirement security, and universal healthcare, including palliative care.
